Easter Sunday

We spent Easter at home this year and had a great weekend!  We started the morning with hidden Easter baskets for each kid.  The Easter bunny must have been in a silly mood ;).

Excited about her new octopus!
Easter eggs and owls for Ethan!
Atley went straight for the reese's pieces!
After baskets were emptied, we got ready and headed to church for a wonderful Easter Sunday service!  Ethan and Nora joined us in service and I loved having them and praising our risen Jesus!  Family pictures followed on the church lawn :)!
Happy Easter!

Dying and Hunting Eggs

We dyed eggs on March 25.
Right before she dropped the egg and splashed dye everywhere ;)
Silly Ethan!
Excited about the final product :)
On March 26 we were invited to an Easter egg hunt in our old neighborhood (we moved 1 month before Nora was born).  It was so fun to see some of the old neighbors and the kids had a blast running through the woods and yards looking for eggs and fun toys they had put out!

We used to live 2 doors down from Braden, so it was fun to see the kids playing together again!
We got to hang out with Ruth after the hunt too!

Preschool Easter

Nora had an Easter party at school the week of Easter.  It was so cute and she had a great time!  I happened to be in Nora's class the Monday before the party and helped the students decorate their egg carton for the Easter egg hunt.

Stickers everywhere!
Nora got to help pray before snack :)
"Freeze"
Each student brought 12 filled eggs for the Easter egg hunt.  Nora (and Atley) had fun finding the eggs outside!!
Nora's carton is all full!
Atley found one!
Ready to go inside and start the party!
Snack time :)
Atley thinks she's in preschool too!  Nora is trying to play a game where she rolls an egg across the floor!

Meeting Margo

My baby sister, Abby, had a baby!  (Check out her more detailed baby blog here)  Sweet baby Margo arrived 3 weeks early (much to everyone's surprise) on February 27.  Jared held down the fort at home so I could race down to Edwardsville to meet my newest niece and see her parents!  She is so tiny and perfect!!  And I was in love immediately!
Proud Aunt!
