Pre-K Fire Station Field Trip

A couple weeks ago Nora's pre school class took a field trip to one of the local fire stations.  It's a great tour and the kids had a blast!

Weekend in StL

The first weekend in April we celebrated Ethan's best friend, Zach's (and our next door neighbor) birthday.  We headed down early on Saturday morning and spent the whole day at the City Museum.  It was so much fun!  (And exhausting!)  We so enjoy spending time with this family.  I can't believe how blessed we are that they moved in next door! We spent the night and went to the zoo the next day.  What a great weekend!  Enjoy some pictures from our fun weekend!

Pool Fun!

On Ethan's last day of his Easter break, I decided to take the kids to the Taylorville YMCA about 30 minutes from our house.  It has a great pool for kids!  They loved it.  There's a lazy river that we did about 98 times! I got my workout in that day for sure, walking all those laps! And I think Ethan and Nora liked this whirlpool thing the best!  The water had a whirlpool current that took them around and around in circles.  I had to literally drag them out :)!  It was hard to get a lot of pictures since I was in the water with Atley the whole time, but I managed to get a couple!

Easter Sunday

We spent Easter at home this year and had a great weekend!  We started the morning with hidden Easter baskets for each kid.  The Easter bunny must have been in a silly mood ;).

After baskets were emptied, we got ready and headed to church for a wonderful Easter Sunday service!  Ethan and Nora joined us in service and I loved having them and praising our risen Jesus!  Family pictures followed on the church lawn :)!

For lunch we went to our good friends, the Talty's house.  It was a delicious lunch and amazing time with friends!  The kids even got one more Easter egg hunt in!
