Pictures from Home

We were busy the first couple days home from the hospital.  But we have taken it easy around here since then.  Lots of cuddling and adjusting to life with 3 kids.  And the kids are adjusting very well, I think.  They both love to hold her and talk to her (as you've seen from pictures) and Ethan proudly took pictures to school yesterday to show her off to his class.

Tummy time girls (Side note: how does the youngest in the family, before the baby, grow up so fast in only 1 week?!  Nora looks so big and old now!)
Such a good big sister
Abby came to visit on Tuesday and stayed until Wednesday evening.  It was fun having her here! She played, read books, painted nails and just hung out!
Tummy time
New nail polish!

Here are some pictures of Atley, from around the house.

Both big kids are always wanting to hold her :).

Thursday my mom came up and I neglected to get the camera out!  I have to say, I have the best mom, ever!!  She brought dinner and dessert for us.  She babysat the girls so I could go have lunch with Ethan at school.  And she went to the grocery store for me!  Not to mention just being here!  It was a great day!  Thanks for coming mom.  I'll take pictures the next time :).

Basketball Time!

Yes, we just got home with a new baby, but basketball must go on!  And Jared is the coach, so we were there!  I forgot to take a picture of Atley at her first basketball game, but she was there too!

He shoots!!
He rebounds!!
And plays some pretty good defense :)!

Lots of Baby Holding!

On Friday, my parents came up to visit and for my dad to meet Miss Atley.  And then Saturday Jared's parents and Dustin and Amanda came for Ethan's basketball game and to see Atley.  It's been fun introducing her to her family!

Ethan's got her again :)!

Heading Home

Last Thursday (October 2) we headed home with sweet baby Atley.  Just Jared, Atley and myself.  Nora was already at home with Grandma Karen and Ethan was at school.  She fell right to sleep as soon as we got in the car.  And had plenty of help when we got home ;).

Jared wrote her name on the dry erase board in our room :)

She's getting good at the one eye open trick!

In the car and out for the count.
Nora, the big helper, when we got home just wanted to unbuckle her.

Ethan was excited to have his baby sister home when he got home from school.  Always wanting to hold her.

Atley Meets the Family!

Since Atley was born later in the evening, our families waited until the next day to come visit.  So, on Wednesday October 1, Atley got to meet her brother and sister!  They were so excited and it is so sweet watching them both with her.  Along with Ethan and Nora, Grandma Terri, Grandma Karen, Abby, Libby and Katie came to see us that day.  This girl is so loved!

First looks!  I think they are in love too :).

Ethan LOVES to hold her.
THREE kids!
Nora is great with her too.
I think this is such a sweet picture.  We are blessed!

Katie, Atley, Libby- Katie wasn't stop sure about her mama holding another little girl.  But she finally came close enough for a picture :).
Ethan wanted a picture with Daddy.  They made the same goofy face, without knowing it.  And I love the photobomb by a smiling Nora.
The hospital had this cute little pumpkin hat for her.

Atley Jane

We welcomed baby #3, Atley Jane to our family on Tuesday.  She was born at 7:39pm on September 30.  She weighed 8 lbs even and was 20 1/4 in long.  She is perfect and looks just like her brother and sister did when they were born.   We are in love and can't believe we now have 3 children!
Before...39 weeks, 5 days!  So ready to meet this baby!
In love!
Minutes old, Atley.
Proud papa!
All clean and getting warm under the light.
