Snow!!

We finally got some real snow in these parts!  We've been dying to get out and sled, shovel and play (ok, maybe not the shovel part).  We were forecasted to get 4-7 inches and ended up with 8.  8 inches of fluffy, beautiful, white snow!  I'm pretty sure half of that fell in the first hour and a half of the snowfall!  There were some HUGE flakes coming down last night.  Our good friends, the Koskinen's came over to sled and play this morning.  It was a fun time; even if I was only out briefly to take a few pictures- next year Atley and I will sled :)!

Date Night Photos

Last Friday Jared and I went on a date!  Our church was having a babysitting fundraiser, so we dropped the kids off, made our donation and headed out!  Our MOPS program also had a fundraiser.  We had a photographer donate her time to take date night photos of couples in her studio.  Jared and I got some taken and I'm really happy with how they turned out.

I love this man! And I'm so lucky to have him!!

After pictures, we met our good friends, Brian and Jessica for a delicious dinner!!

Major Phone Dump

Soccer Part 2

The kids had their last week of soccer on Monday.  They loved it and had so much fun each week!  I finally remembered to bring my big camera to get a few better pictures.

4+ Months Stats AND Cereal

Atley finally had her 4 month doctor appointment this week.  (It was canceled last week).  She is a healthy girl and growing too fast.  She weighs 14 lbs 12 oz (50%) and is 25 1/4 inches long (75%).  We also tried rice cereal for the first time last night.  I don't think she's a big fan yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time ;).

Snowy Sunday

This morning we woke up to white.  Not as much as we were expecting and hoping for, but enough for the kids to BEG to go outside and play.  Since we went to church last night, they were dressed (Jared too) and ready to go outside by 9 this morning.  And by 11, it was pretty much raining and they were soaked!  They made a snow fort, a snowman, threw snowballs, shoveled and took the sled down the hill a lot!  What a fun and wet morning!

Lazy Saturday

Yesterday was one of those days where we had no plans and no where to be!  The kids played nicely around the house in the morning, we went out to lunch and then decided to go to church in the evening.  I snapped a couple pictures of the kids playing.
