Fall Fun!

This morning we decided to take advantage of this beautiful fall day and went to an awesome pumpkin patch.  This was our 2nd time going to this patch (click here for last year's post) and we hope to make it an annual thing.  We picked our own pumpkins, went through 2 hay bale mazes, looked at all the animals, had some delicious cider and pumpkin treats and just enjoyed the beautiful fall day and scenery.

Happy Birthday to Scout!

My cousin's little boy, Scout, turned 2 on September 28.  Scout and Ethan play and fight like brothers.  Since there were so many of us in town this weekend, we had a quick little birthday celebration for Scout.

A Kentucky Wedding

As I mentioned it a previous post, we had a wedding to attend this past weekend in Kentucky.  One of my best friends from high school was getting married.  Jennifer was a beautiful bride and the day was perfect!  Jared and I met 2 of my other best friends from forever (and their husbands) for lunch before the wedding.  Sara & Jason and Elizabeth & Hap are such great friends and it's always a good time when we get together, which isn't as often as we would all like.  We had lunch at Patti's, which happens to be a Kentucky landmark and is delicious!  Two words...Pork Chop!  I recommend a visit if you're ever in the Paducah area.  Anyway, here are a few photos from the day.

Family Pictures

My brother, Jim and his family just moved from Florida to Kentucky.  I'm so glad to have them closer.  Ethan loves to play with his cousins, Tyler, Paige and Josiah.  They were in town this weekend and Abby (our resident photographer) organized some family pictures.  It was a beautiful day and I think the pictures turned out great!  Here are some of my favorites.

Full Term!

I'm 37 weeks today, which means baby girl is full term! I could have this baby any day now...I just hope she waits until this weekend is over. We've got a lot going on, with a car to buy, a wedding to attend (in Kentucky), and a baby sprinkle for me, Libby and Kendra; thrown by my wonderful sister Abby! (There will be pictures of all the above eventually). For now, here's a full term mama and baby! Can't wait to meet you little girl!

Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder...Right??

Let me appologize for my lack of blog posts lately.  Moving to a new house will keep you busy!  I have had a lot of people ask about new house pictures and I have a few of Ethan's room and also some of him just playing.  I'm still working on getting the house the way I want it.  I know this will take time, and I'm not very patient!  So, I'll get more pictures up here soon.  Anyway, here are the few that I have...Enjoy!

 This is what I found one day last week after Ethan ran off to wash his hands.  I didn't hear anything for a while so I decided to investigate.  Like mother (aunt & Pop) like son!  He had about 3 feet of floss out, but was very proud that he had flossed all by himself!
